The monsoon season begins in June and lasts until the end of September. Honestly speaking, the monsoons are my favorite season to travel in Maharashtra. The monsoons give rise to lush green vegetation and waterfalls throughout the state. However, the month of July and August receive heavy rainfalls overall. Therefore the monsoons may not be considered a good option for tourists as your plans might get canceled due to heavy rains.
The winter in Maharashtra starts from November to February. The Temperature hovers around 12 to 30 degrees Celsius. The weather remains pleasant for traveling and is often the best time to travel in Maharashtra.
