In a country like India, where there are thousands of variations in cultures and their foods. The country is a paradise for a Foodie and here is my foodie blog #1 from Jaipur – the pink city of Rajasthan. I was obliged to travel to this part of India for the first time, it was work-related and for just a brief period of 3 days in Jaipur.
I would travel to a new destination for my wanderlust, but I also love to try what special each city has to offer in every department.
So here’s a visual diary as a foodie.
Day 1 – Dinner
Time for some Local desert after pretty good Rajasthani thali.
Day 2 – wanted to start out with something like porridge and fruit juice but…
Although, my lunch was an Absolute feast.
Finally the desert,
Day 3 started with a mid-day flight meal while traveling to Udaipur.
Highlight of Jaipur
If you are are a foodie and in Jaipur, I would definitely recommend you visit Chokhi Dhani. The name itself translates to ‘Rajasthani Culture’. The place is a very well-known attraction that pulls foodies from all over the nation.
The top 10 reasons for you to must visit this place are there are folk dances, relive the haldighati battle, puppet shows, magic shows, shopping, animal rides, Bindola restaurant, Aragosta restaurant, Kesar Kyari Barbeque, Chaupal and more.
How to Reach Chokhi Dhani?
There are taxis or private cabs from Jaipur city that will take you to Chokhi Dhani. the distance would take half an hour approximately. the fare should be around 500-600 INR.
Chokhi Dhani also runs its own cabs. These cabs are termed as ‘Rajputana cabs’. They charge around 900 INR for the sedan and 1200 INR for an SUV, for both pick-up and drop.
Hope you liked this mini foodie blog. i will surely try to do better at food blogging…LOL!
